About Me
Sara Beth Schneider has a passion for helping others communicate clearly and effectively. She enjoys helping writers take their craft to the next level, whether that be identifying plot issues in fiction, highlighting weak or distracted arguments in non-fiction, or ensuring newsletters and blog posts are clear and concise.
Sara Beth found herself making corrections in books she read even as a child. In high school, she edited papers for her fellow students, a practice that continued throughout college. Upon graduation, Sara Beth entered the non-profit world, working for an international relief organization. While her work did not focus on writing or editing, several of Sara Beth’s colleagues in graduate school frequently asked her for assistance with their papers, leading to the unofficial “Schneider Writing Center”. After the births of her three children, Sara Beth taught writing to sixth graders at a homeschool co-op and worked as a copy editor for an online media group. She also assisted several local small business owners with content and copy editing. The joy she experienced from helping writers grow led her to take her work freelance.
